Angela Georgiou
Brand and packaging development
Angela Georgiou had seen her jewellery business grow steadily over 10 years. She wanted to grow her brand beyond current customer reach and create a more cohesive brand strategy for her entire product range, but her previous brand and identity was holding her back. She approached us to develop her brand and help create a more distinct point of difference.
The challenge
Angela Georgiou had seen her jewellery business grow steadily over 10 years. She wanted to grow her brand beyond current customer reach and create a more cohesive brand strategy for her entire product range, but the previous brand was holding her back. She approached us to develop the brand and create a more distinct and ownable point of difference enabling her to realise her future ambitions.
Our approach
Founded on an idea where stories lay at the heart of each jewellery design and with Angela’s proud background, we looked to heritage and storytelling for inspiration. Research showed that people often attach memories and stories to jewellery and this coupled with her tactile and earthy style where she often creates new pieces from old led us to develop a central theme around “The past reimagined”. We worked with Australian based illustrator Jessica Benhar to develop a series of bold and striking images that draw on themes of mythology and emotion.
The outcome
The new brand identity has given Angela Georgiou a more differentiated positioning in a busy market and has helped increase visibility of her business and product ranges.
The new brand has really captured the spirit and approach I have to my work and it now feels more authentic. It reflects my heritage and this is key to helping my brand stand-out. From the moment we started working with the team at Clout Branding they have been invaluable with advice and direction and they really did get a firm grip on my vision and expectations.
