Redefining the corporate golf day experience

Our financial services client, Carne Group, asked us to create a branded experience for an inclusive golf event in Dublin – one that would embody their vision of unity and togetherness.

They wanted to move away from the traditional, overly formal corporate golf day format and instead offer guests a more relaxed and enjoyable experience – something memorable, meaningful, and worthy of becoming an annual tradition.

We named the event GatherRound – a playful and purposeful reference to both the game of golf and the inclusive spirit behind it. The name naturally extended into the event language: beginners gathered round a pro, players gathered round their team’s ball, and evening guests gathered round industry leaders for informal, insightful conversations.

The logotype echoed this theme of coming together, while the event branding blended Carne’s visual identity with golf in a fresh, contemporary way. Every touchpoint was treated as an opportunity to reinforce Carne’s values – from welcome signage and competition rule cards to personalised golf buggy number plates.

The result was a standout event that brought Carne’s values of togetherness and thoughtfulness to life – and underscored their ambition to unite the asset management industry in a more human, connected way.

Initial invitations generated a response well beyond expectations, with attendees oversubscribed within days. Feedback during and after the event was overwhelmingly positive, confirming GatherRound as a compelling new addition to the industry calendar.
