We hit 10 years in business earlier this year (May 2024).
So we closed the studio and headed to Gorse – a modern Welsh restaurant run by Tom Waters, ex-Odette, Bonhams, The Fat Duck (pictured).
Incredible food and service in an unpretentious setting. Just the way we like it.
The parallel struck me…
When we started the business back in 2014, the aim wasn’t to get to a specific size or even to work with specific types of clients; rather, the focus was on quality in our craft, with care and attention in everything we do so that our clients get exceptional thinking and design, matched with an attentive and genuinely collaborative experience.
Ten years on, what really pleases me is that I can say, hand on heart, that we have lived and breathed this philosophy.
Much like Tom and his team, the proof of the pudding (ahem) is that you don’t need to be big or flashy to deliver excellence or leave a positive lasting impression – you just need commitment, a love for what you do, and a sprinkling of raw talent.
And on that, a massive shout-out to all of our talented team, past and present, and to our wonderful clients – thank you all.
